Preschool
Each of our preschool teachers create a unique, developmentally appropriate, and play-based curriculum. We believe that children learn best through hands-on activities. We want children to delight in the process of learning and worry not about creating a product or end result. When you enter our building you will smell baking; you will hear laughter, music, and singing; you will see science experiments, puppets, and nature growing; you will find many messes and witness teachers who are passionate about facilitating the early education of young children.
2’s Classes are offered: M/W or T/Th from 9-2:30; student-teacher ratio is 13:2
3’s Classes are offered: M/W or T/Th from 9-2:30; student-teacher ratio is 16:2
4’s Classes are offered: M/W/Th or T/W/Th or M/T/W/Th from 9-2:30; student-teacher ratio is 16:2
Bridge K Class is offered: M/T/W/Th from 9-2:30; student-teacher ratio is 16:2
Bridge K is a class made up of students who are receiving the “gift of time”. They are children who could be enrolled in kindergarten based on their birthday, but whose parents and teachers have worked together to decide that an additional year of preschool would greatly benefit the child in the long term. CCDC teachers partner with parents to help guide them through the decision making process for choosing this class. We are blessed by the opportunity to offer Bridge K to our CCDC families.
